  • Capacity Building: Allied Health (Physiotherapy, Social Work, Exercise Physiology) and Coordination of Supports.

  • Social Enterprises: A unique range of supported workplace participation initiatives, including a Car Wash, Dog Wash, Kiosk, Lawn Carers, Maintenance Services, and a Salon, all designed to provide employment opportunities and community engagement.

Challenges

Driven by a commitment to quality and community engagement, RLCG experienced significant growth, which quickly highlighted the limitations of its existing operational technology. The core challenges stemmed from core rostering systems that were not fit for the Australian Home Care industry:

  • Disparate Systems and Misaligned Functionality: RLCG relied on multiple, disparate systems to manage operations. Crucially, their previous rostering application was designed for the hospitality industry, and had limited notes functionality during shift clock-outs.

  • Business Process Friction: RLCG’s core NDIS processes could not function smoothly due to the previous app's limitations. Tasks like collecting mandatory data, managing funding lines, and tracking complex shift rules were disjointed, resulting in excessive manual correction and workarounds
